Turning Pain into Passion
When I first started selling at a local farmers market, it was a way to mend my broken heart. Baking and creating delicious croissant brought me a sense of acceptance and healing. I found a community of people who faithfully came to the market just to try new flavors and connect. New friendships blossomed and I came alive again.
Back in 1975, when I was a teenager I found my first job picking strawberries in the Skagit Valley. Today, I bring the same organic strawberries from those very farms into my gourmet croissants. This journey has been a full-circle of restoration, filled with the joy of baking and creating beauty.
